This Privacy Policy describes how SEEKTOOL ("we," "us," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the SEEKTOOL mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and a display name you choose. This is used to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
Activity data. When you use the app's features, we store data you generate, including:
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers for advertising, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is described here.
We use your information solely to:
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.
SEEKTOOL uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store your account and activity data. Your data is stored on Google's secure cloud infrastructure and is protected by security rules that restrict access so that only you, when signed in, can read or write your own data. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
The app also caches your data locally on your device so it works offline; queued changes sync to the cloud when you reconnect.
We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account exists. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
SEEKTOOL is rated for Everyone and is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We collect only the limited information described in this policy (account details and the prayer and study activity you generate in the app), and we use it solely to operate the app's features. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.
We encourage a parent or guardian to help set up and supervise the account for a younger child. If you are a parent or guardian and would like to review or delete a child's information, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure authentication and access-restricted cloud storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
